Celebrating two years of partnership with Finnbar’s Force

We are proud to celebrate two years of partnership with Finnbar’s Force, a charity dedicated to supporting children and families affected by childhood cancer across Norfolk and the wider East Anglia region.

Over the past two years, Fosters has been enormously proud to work alongside Finnbar’s Force as our charity partner, supporting their vital work in fundraising, raising awareness, contributing to brain tumour research projects, and providing essential family support to those facing a childhood cancer diagnosis.

This partnership has seen all of our internal fundraising efforts aligned with the charity’s objectives, alongside colleagues actively volunteering at key events. These have included Finnbar’s Force’s annual Family Adventure Day, their Hethersett Christmas lights switch-on, and a memorable team hike up Scafell Pike – all reflecting a hands-on, collaborative approach to support.

Beyond fundraising, our Wills, Trusts & Probate team has worked closely with the charity’s trustees to help launch Finnbar’s Force’s legacy giving initiative. The team has also provided legal advice to families at the charity’s Family Support Centre, The Den, and hosted a Charity Will Month to help raise further vital funds.

Our most recent activity, our Christmas Jumper Day, brought this year’s fundraising to a close. Alongside monthly dress-down days, prize draws, event raffles, and quiz nights – with fantastic involvement from colleagues and clients across all three of our branches – these efforts have helped us raise an incredible £6,400 for Finnbar’s Force.

Fosters’ Practice Director, Andrea Spooner commented: “We have absolutely loved working with Finnbar’s Force over the last two years. It has been a genuine partnership, and it has been inspiring to see the charity grow and the impact it continues to make for children and families across our region. We are incredibly grateful to Finnbar’s Force for allowing us to support their work, and to our colleagues and clients whose enthusiasm and generosity have helped us raise such an amazing amount. We wish the team every success for the future and look forward to seeing the charity go from strength to strength.

Tristan Cork from Finnbar’s Force added: “We cannot thank Fosters enough for their continued support and commitment over the past two years. From fundraising and volunteering to sharing their professional expertise, they have embraced a true partnership approach and actively engaged with everything we do. Their involvement has made a real difference to the families we support, and we are extremely grateful to everyone at Fosters for their passion, energy and generosity.”

We would like to thank everyone who has taken part, donated, volunteered, or supported our fundraising activities. Together, we are proud to have made a meaningful contribution to the life-changing work of Finnbar’s Force.
