Leadership team update
We shared two important updates to our leadership team this month.
After nearly 34 years with the firm, including almost three decades as a Partner, Iain McClay retired from the Board. Iain will continue in his role as Head of Family & Mediation and as a consultant, supporting clients and colleagues with his extensive expertise.
We also welcomed Partner David Gabell to the Board, recognising his significant contribution to the firm and the continued growth of our Medical Negligence team.

Our annual support of Hats for Headway once again saw colleagues across our offices don their most creative headwear in aid of Headway – the brain injury association. A huge thank you to everyone who took part.

Sterry Cup celebration
Our partners at the Anglian Combination Football League marked a special moment in local football history, welcoming Roland Sterry to present the historic Sterry Cup to the 2025-26 Fosters Solicitors Anglian Combination Premier Division winners’ Norwich United. Roland is the great-grandson of John Steward Sterry who had the cup commissioned and presented to the league in 1889.

We joined our partners, the Eastern Landlords Association, at their annual event, speaking with local landlords and answering questions on conveyancing and life planning. Property Litigation specialist Tyler Clayton also delivered a session on the new Renters’ Rights Act.

Continuing our partnership with Norfolk County Cricket Club
We were delighted to confirm the continuation of our partnership with Norfolk County Cricket Club, building on a successful relationship established in March 2024. The partnership continues to provide valuable opportunities to connect with the local community and strengthen links between sport and business across the region.

Wellbeing walk and run
We rounded off the month by making the most of the sunshine, with colleagues coming together for a relaxed walk or a social 5km run – a great way to catch up and boost wellbeing.
