Fosters Solicitors

Anglian Combination Football League and Fosters confirm partnership

The East Anglian law firm will become the new title sponsor of the league for the next two seasons, as well as supporting three of its league cup competitions and its annual charity match, the Don Frost Cup.

The 2021-22 season will be the league’s 58th campaign and will be known as the Fosters Solicitors Anglian Combination Football League. The league currently comprises 73 clubs, with a total of 104 teams participating across seven divisions – and with a competition boundary of 50 miles from the centre of Norwich, the teams competing come from throughout Norfolk and Suffolk.

This sponsorship will see Fosters extend its partnership network within local football, with the firm already having long-standing relaltionships with Norwich City Football Club, the Norwich City Fans Social Club, Lowestoft Town Football Club and Corton Youth Football Club.

Fosters’ Chief Executive, Chris Brown commented: “We are proud and excited to be partnering with the Anglian Combination.

“We already have key relationships and clients in the game and are delighted to be the only law firm in our local area supporting staff, players and fans up and down the football pyramid.

“As the events of the last week have shown, the affection people have, and the importance our local communities place on their teams and the pyramid is huge, with thousands of players and volunteers investing their time and commitment to the game across the divisions. We are really looking forward to working with the Anglian Combination management commitee in supporting our shared objectives and commitment to local football.”

Anglian Combination Football League Chairman, Graham Jubb added: “On behalf of our management committee and clubs, I am delighted to be able to confirm that Fosters Solicitors will be our new title sponsor from next season. We are a progressive League and are delighted to partner with Fosters Solicitors a progressive, award-winning East Anglian law firm.

“It was important to us that a new partner shared our values and passion for football, as well as being a local company with firm connections to the communities we and our teams represent. Fosters ticked all these boxes, with roots in both Norfolk and Suffolk and already established relationships and experience in both elite and lower league football, we look forward to working with them and thank them for their support.”
