Our short and long-term goals

Short-term

To create meaningful sustainability values and policies the business can reflect upon throughout its sustainability journey.

Work with our expert energy consultants to undertake an energy audit at our main Norwich office.

To achieve at least a 10% annual reduction of the firm’s total carbon footprint against its 2024/25 YE baseline.

To develop department-specific reduction plans focused on the needs and resources of each of our teams.

Appoint sustainability champions across our offices, to help implement firm-wide initiatives, and be a voice for the different needs of our offices.

Long-term

We ASPIRE to be net-zero by 2030.

To implement the results determined by the energy audit undertaken at our Norwich office, to kickstart the practical improvements we can make to help reduce our carbon footprint.

To create a dedicated annual ‘Green Day’.

To aim to achieve accreditations and awards relevant to the goals and initiatives we are looking to implement as a professional services firm, such as B-Corp certification and ISO14001.

To add Sustainability to our firm-wide values, so the goals and intentions of the firm’s sustainability journey form a natural part of Fosters’ identity.
