Throughout the year, Fosters Solicitors hosts and attends a variety of events in association with our business and community partners, as well as undertaking activities to support the well-being of our colleagues and our wider local community network.
December certainly didn’t disappoint with plenty of festivities to signal the end of another busy year.
Alongside other businesses and community partners in Wymondham, we opened our doors for the town’s Christmas event and lights switch on. We certainly got into the festive spirit, with plenty of visitors taking part in our raffle and tombola to raise an amazing £333 for our charity of the year, Finnbar’s Force.
Colleagues from our Business & Commercial team took part in McTear Williams & Wood’s Christmas Quiz at Carrow Road. A good time was had, with a second, third and wooden spoon finish amongst the Fosters’ contingent!
Our Family & Children team, who are long-term supporters of the charity Leeway, Norfolk’s largest specialist provider of domestic abuse support – attended their festive charity ball.
Members of our Wills, Trusts & Probate and Residential Property teams based in Lowestoft attended the Suffolk Chamber of Commerce’s Christmas Networking Lunch at The Hotel Victoria in the town. They are pictured here with representatives of fellow Chamber members Christies Care and Suffolk Meadow Ice Cream.
We got together as a firm to celebrate the festivities and mark the end of 2024 with our annual Christmas party!
We were delighted to join together two of our partners in Norwich Theatre and Finnbar’s Force, to enable the charity’s trustee team and some of the families they support to enjoy a grand tour of the beautiful Norwich Theatre and get to see behind the scenes of the panto production Aladdin!
This year, generous donations from colleagues and clients helped support two local Christmas community projects. Firstly, Future Support at Future Projects who were able to deliver festive hampers to families in our region and also in Lowestoft and The Salvation Army’s Christmas Present Appeal.
We had festive vibes all around Fosters, as we held our annual Christmas Jumper Day in support of Finnbar’s Force. A big thank you to everyone who has helped us support them in 2024. It’s been an incredible year filled with unforgettable moments – from attending a spectacular ball and climbing up Scafell Pike, to hosting coffee mornings and volunteering at fun-filled community days. Here’s to 2025!
Our Norwich City Community Heroes for December were Debbie Wright and Hope Rogers, chosen by Big C Cancer Charity and the Community Sports Foundation for their fantastic volunteering and fundraising efforts.
The two charities have recently teamed up to launch a joint fundraising event for 2025; the 150-Mile Challenge. Our colleague Jordan Rodwell is pictured here with Debbie and Hope at Norwich City’s home match with QPR.
