Fosters Solicitors

Community and Event News: December 2025

Throughout the year, Fosters Solicitors hosts and attends a variety of events in association with our business and community partners, as well as undertaking activities to support the well-being of our colleagues and our wider local community network.

December brought festive fun, meaningful connections and plenty of celebrations. Here’s a look back at what we enjoyed during a wonderfully busy month.

Festive networking celebrations

We were delighted to join our partners at several festive networking events throughout December, celebrating the season together and strengthening valued relationships. A big thank you to Norwich Theatre (event pictured), Smith & Pinching and Norwich City Football Club for their kind invitations and warm hospitality.

Norwich City Sponsor and Players’ Dinner

Fosters’ Chief Executive, Chris Brown, attended this year’s Norwich City FC sponsors’ dinner, joining our player Jack Stacey, his teammates and fellow club colleagues for an evening celebrating our partnership collaboration.

NNJLD Charity Christmas Quiz

Our colleague quizzers took part in the Norfolk and Norwich Junior Lawyers’ Division Christmas quiz, held at Bread Source – The Refectory at Norwich Cathedral. A great evening bringing together the local legal community in festive spirits for a good cause.

Lowestoft Support for Carers Event

Our Head of Court of Protection & Vulnerable Persons, Paige Gouldthorpe, hosted a seminar at The Seagull in Lowestoft for carers supporting vulnerable family members and friends. The session provided an overview of available legal support, including Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, financial considerations and capacity assessments, helping attendees feel informed and empowered.

Merry Christmas!

For the second year running, we held our annual festive gathering at the wonderful Dragon Hall. It was a fantastic opportunity for colleagues to come together, reflect on the year and enjoy the celebrations in the special medieval setting.

A Very Wymondham Christmas

We opened the doors of our Wymondham office to celebrate the town’s Christmas lights switch-on. Our raffle and tombola helped raise over £300 for Finnbar’s Force, supporting their incredible work with children and families affected by childhood cancer.

Maids Head Christmas car visit

A huge thank you to the Maids Head Hotel for bringing festive cheer to our Norwich neighbourhood with their stunning vintage Bentley just before Christmas – a wonderful surprise that brought smiles all round.

Introducing our new apprentices

We were delighted to congratulate our Residential Property colleagues Ella Aldous, Sashka Borgenvik and Sienna McDonald on becoming Solicitor Apprentices at the firm. They will be combining academic legal studies with hands-on experience in our conveyancing teams here at Fosters. We wish them every success as they begin this exciting next chapter.

20 years here we come!

We were proud to announce the renewal of our long-standing primary partnership with Norwich City FC for a further five years. First established in 2011, the new agreement will see our collaboration reach an impressive 20 years. Pictured is City defender Jack Stacey with members of the Fosters’ partnership.

Celebrating two years with Finnbar’s Force

Our annual Christmas Jumper Day marked our final fundraising event of 2025 and provided the perfect opportunity to celebrate two years of partnership with Finnbar’s Force. We are incredibly proud to support the vital work they do for children and families across Norfolk and the wider East Anglia region. Thank you to everyone at Finnbar’s Force, and to our colleagues, clients, volunteers and supporters across all our branches, whose generosity and enthusiasm have made such a meaningful difference.

NCFC Community Hero – Watford

December’s Fosters Solicitors Community Hero was Simon Ludkin, nominated by the Community Sports Foundation for his outstanding fundraising efforts – including completing 52 marathons throughout 2025 in support of the Foundation.

His final marathon took place at Carrow Road ahead of Norwich City’s Sky Bet Championship fixture against Watford FC, where our colleague Elisa Bristo presented him with his award.
