Fosters Solicitors

Firm extends Finnbar’s Force support into 2025

Fosters Solicitors is delighted to confirm that we will be working with Finnbar’s Force as our chosen charity for another year.

Throughout 2024, the firm has been supporting the Hethersett-based organisation in a variety of ways, focusing our collective fundraising efforts from our monthly dress down days, quiz nights and other internal events – as well as participating in their Mountain Fox Climb.

We have also been able to help the charity through staff volunteering at their events, including their annual Christmas lights switch on in Hethersett (pictured), and our Wills, Trusts & Probate colleague, Louise Gibbs-Kneller has provided expert professional advice to help the charity set up their legacy campaign and provide drop-in legal support at their family support hub, The Den in Eaton just outside Norwich.

Finnbar’s Force was formed in 2017 by the parents of Finnbar Cork, who sadly died from an aggressive brain tumour, aged just five. The charity’s focus is on fundraising, awareness, brain tumour research projects and family support.

Tristan Cork, Finnbar’s father, and charity co-founder, commented: “We are so pleased to be working with Fosters Solicitors for another year. They have been so supportive throughout 2024, not only in helping us fundraise, but also in supporting us at a number of our events by volunteering, taking part in our challenges and providing us with legal expertise for our legacy initiative and drop-in events to help us support families in Norfolk. Therefore, we are so grateful to all at Fosters for their continued support, which is so special to us.”

Chris Brown, Chief Executive of Fosters Solicitors, added: “For us making a meaningful contribution to our charity of the year is so important, and for the last few years this has been realised through us creating a longer-term partnership with the organisation we have worked with – allowing us not only to extend our fundraising efforts but also help with legal expertise and volunteering time to provide practical support.

We are therefore so pleased to confirm we will be working with Finnbar’s Force again in 2025 as our chosen charity. Their efforts locally to support families facing childhood cancer is just amazing and we are looking forward to continuing our work with Tristan and the team for the year ahead.”
