Specialist legal surgery for Dying Matters Awareness Day

On Thursday 1st May, colleagues from our private client teams will be supporting Dying Matters Awareness Day at The Forum, Norwich.

Hosted by Norfolk & Waveney Compassionate Communities, this free event has been held in the city for the last few years and brings together organisations and people supporting end of life issues, as part of the annual Dying Matters Awareness Week campaign. The aim of this initiative is to encourage open conversations about death, dying and grief, breaking down taboos and stigmas around end of life care and help people feel more comfortable and supported around these sensitive topics.

Therefore, members of our Wills, Trusts & Probate, and Court of Protection & Vulnerable Persons teams will be there on the day, providing a drop-in legal surgery at The Forum, between 9am and 3pm.

Our award-winning experts will be on hand to provide introductory information and advice around care and life planning – including Wills, Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA), care fee planning, Inheritance Tax and specialist support around protecting the interests of those who no longer have the mental capacity to make their own decisions.

You’re welcome to just drop in and see them on our stand or near the Death Café at The Forum. Alternatively, if you’d like to book a set time to meet them on the day (approximately 10 minute window per person), please contact us in advance of the event at enquiries@fosters-solicitors.co.uk or by calling 01603 620508.
