The Legal 500 UK 2025 rankings have been published and Fosters Solicitors has again been recognised and recommended across all of our applicable practice areas.
We have been listed in 13 practice categories, and have 22 lawyers highlighted for special mention – including Leading Partners, Next Generation Partners and Leading Associates.
Special congratulations go to both our Personal Injury & Group Actions and Medical Negligence & Inquests teams, whose combined submission saw us ranked as a Top Tier firm in the Claimant Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence category for the first time. They join our Crime & Business Defence department, who have maintained their top tier status for General Crime and Fraud.
This year, the format of the UK’s leading guide to law firms and solicitors has changed, with the introduction of new lawyer categories.
Our Partners, Chris Brown, Clare Sharpe, Damien Moore, Jamie Arnall, Lisa Glynne and Steve Green have all been listed as Leading Partners in their fields. The Legal 500 UK define Leading Partners as, “The strongest partners in their field, leading on market-leading deals and endorsed by peers and clients alike”.
Fosters Solicitors’ Head of Medical Negligence & Inquests, David Gabell has been recognised as a Next Generation Partner, with Josh Perez-Fosh, Katy Dickinson and Paige Gouldthorpe all listed as Leading Associates, “with regular involvement in their team’s key work, and recognition from peers or clients as being ones to watch”.
Commenting on achieving Top Tier status, David Gabell and Co-head of Personal Injury & Group Actions, Steve Green, said they were delighted for their teams.
“It has taken a few years of hard work by every member of the team, but what a buzz it is to have finally achieved Top Tier status in The Legal 500 this year. We now stand shoulder to shoulder with some of the best law firms in our areas and we look forward to what is to come,” said David.
Steve added: “We are very pleased to confirm that Fosters Solicitors’ Personal Injury & Group Actions team has been recognised as a Tier 1 firm by the contributors to The Legal 500, alongside our talented colleagues in Medical Negligence. I am very pleased to see my co-head, Chris Turner and our colleague Lynn Satchell both being recognised for the work they do and receiving glowing feedback from our clients.”
