Throughout the year, Fosters Solicitors hosts and attends a variety of events in association with our business and community partners, as well as undertaking activities to support the well-being of our colleagues and our wider local community network.
Spring certainly sprung for us here at Fosters – here’s what we got up to in a busy March.
We won’t mention the score… but a great night was had at our latest friendly five-a-side football match against fellow law firm Hansells!
Our Commercial Property Executive, Ashley Roe joined local property investors group, Norwich Property Meet, at their monthly event. Ashley presented some key information and updates about short leases and auction legal packs.
Members of our Court of Protection & Vulnerable Persons team, Paige Gouldthorpe and Elisa Bristo gave a guest lecture at the UEA, highlighting their specific area of law in supporting those most vulnerable.
A Team Fosters of Tyler Clayton, Jordan Rodwell and Elisa Bristo took part in the annual Norfolk & Norwich Law Society ‘Norfolk Lawyers do Countdown’ in support of the Norfolk Community Law Service.
At the kind invitation of our charity of the year, Finnbar’s Force, our colleagues Lucy Butcher and Hephzibah Ayuba joined them at Brain Tumour Research’s 15th anniversary dinner at The Dorchester in London, for an extremely inspiring evening filled with talks of hope and courage.
In what has been an exceptionally busy period for all our colleagues working in both commercial and residential property – we recognised their hard work as part of the now annual initiative to champion this area of law.
Our Litigation colleagues Sam Webb and Tyler Clayton represented the firm at this event, joining the charity’s other corporate members to learn about the impact of the Norwich Theatre’s work in the community over the past year, as well as what’s to come in 2025/26.
Organised by Norfolk County Council’s Higher Aspirations Scheme, several of our colleagues at different points in their own career, took part in an online event with local sixth form students providing an informative introduction of what working at a law firm is like.
We were delighted to again launch our annual community competition alongside our partners, the Fosters Solicitors Anglian Combination – who this season are celebrating six decades of grassroots football in Norfolk and Suffolk.
To mark this special occasion, we are seeking the help of the local grassroots football community to share their key memories or memorabilia from throughout these 60 years – not only helping the Anglian Combination to create a digital archive for future generations, but also give participants the chance of winning some great prizes!
Our Head of Business & Commercial Jamie Arnall was invited by professional training providers, ABA Procurement to join them at their offices to meet some of their students to help them bring contract terms to life and understand what they mean in the real world.
Everyone at Fosters was delighted to congratulate our colleague Tyler Clayton on the news of his qualification as a solicitor into our Litigation & Dispute Resolution team.
This month’s Fosters Solicitors Community Heroes were the top fundraisers for the Community Sports Foundation’s Virtual 150-mile Challenge, Sue Quantrill, Neil Hall and Genie Barham.

As part of our partnership with the Norfolk Cricket Foundation, we attended Swardstone Cricket Club’s 36th annual dinner with England cricketing legend Lord Ian Botham.
Our Head of Corporate Josh Perez-Fosh and Associate Katy Dickinson joined local professionals at the insightful Ensors’ Legal Practice Dinner in Norwich, hearing from speakers about the current state of the global economy, and the impact of AI on the professional services sector.
As the month came to an end, we shared our Fosters’ Friday with mindfulness walks and a curry night!
Our Partner, Lucy Simpson attended a local event to recognise International Transgender Day of Visibility.
