Continued recognition for Fosters in The Legal 500 UK 2027
Fosters has once again been recognised in The Legal 500 UK, one of the legal profession’s leading independent guides to law firms and lawyers, with the firm ranked across 13 practice areas in its 2027 edition.
These latest results showcase the strength of our teams and their collective knowledge and experience, alongside our continued focus on providing clients with clear, practical advice and a high standard of personal service. Recognition across a wide range of practice areas highlights the support they provide to individuals, families and businesses throughout East Anglia and beyond.
Our Crime & Business Defence, Personal Injury and Medical Negligence teams have maintained their longstanding Tier 1 rankings, the highest ranking awarded by the guide. This continued success reflects the experience and reputation these teams have built over many years, together with their commitment to supporting clients through what can often be difficult and complex circumstances.
We are also particularly pleased to see an increase in the overall number of colleagues recommended this year, with 27 now recognised by name across the guide’s editorial commentary, client testimonials and individual lawyer rankings.
Ten colleagues have retained special individual accolades within the guide, including six Leading Partners, three Next Generation Partners and one Leading Associate. Jamie Arnall, Chris Brown, Damien Moore, Steve Green, Clare Sharpe and Lisa Glynne are recognised as Leading Partners; Josh Perez-Fosh, David Gabell and Paige Gouldthorpe as Next Generation Partners; and Katy Dickinson as a Leading Associate.
The feedback published within this year’s guide highlights many of the qualities that matter most to our clients. Across a range of practice areas, clients praised our approachable and personal service, clear communication, practical advice and commitment to understanding their individual needs, while also recognising colleagues for their expertise, professionalism and support.
The latest rankings follow another important achievement for Fosters this summer, when we were named the number one law firm in East Anglia for client recommendation in Legal 500 Client Research. The independent research analysed more than 5,000 client responses from across the region and ranked firms according to how likely their clients were to recommend them, with Fosters achieving the highest score in East Anglia.
Chris Brown, Chief Executive at Fosters, said: “It’s always rewarding to see our people and teams recognised in The Legal 500 UK, particularly as the rankings are informed by research and feedback from clients and professional contacts.
“We’re pleased to see more colleagues recommended this year, alongside the continued success of those who have received individual accolades and the retention of our longstanding Tier 1 rankings.
“Being named the number one law firm in East Anglia for client recommendation earlier this year makes these results especially meaningful. Together, they recognise the expertise, care and personal service our colleagues provide every day, and the trust our clients place in us.”
