Iain heads our Family & Mediation team and has over 30 years of experience advising and representing individuals and families. He undertakes a wide range of Family Law cases, specialising in the financial consequences of separation and divorce, either by working with clients towards an agreed settlement or representing them at court, or as a mediator.

With three decades worth of experience, Iain is able to use his vast expertise to help his clients with all their family matters. Iain specialises in assisting those who wish to separate or divorce their partner/spouse, representing their interests in finding solutions for settlement.
Iain gains enormous satisfaction in being accessible and assisting a wide range of clients, whether that’s through negotiation, litigation, or mediation.
Focusing on the issues at hand, Iain believes in giving direct and clear practical and legal advice.
Iain is a registered accredited mediator by the Family Mediation Council and a member of the Family Mediators Association.
Originally from Yorkshire, Iain completed his Sociology degree at York University and his legal studies at Northumberland University, before moving to Norwich in 1989.
After completing his articles, Iain moved to Fosters in 1991 to practice Family Law, and in due course became head of the Family & Mediation department.
Outside of work Iain is a keen supporter of local independent coffee houses and restaurants, Cinema City and Norwich City Football Club.
